New Orleans, Louisiana (2/12/2003) --- The Johns Manville Roofing Systems Group (RSG) announced today that it is launching a new and enhanced contractor, and guarantee services program to optimize its relationship with the best roofing contractors in the business. The new contractor program, called the Peak Advantage Program--Reach for the Summit™, is designed to drive new and profitable business opportunities for its members.
“Roofing contractors are the lifeblood of our business,” said John Cambruzzi, the new dedicated contractor program manager. “We need to be more responsive to roofing contractors and provide them the tools to be successful. This includes a more selective relationship, quicker turn-around times, qualified leads, marketing materials, education and training. It also means providing them with guarantees that are responsive to the needs of the building owner. We are dedicated to a higher level of support and service to these important business partners.”
The Peak Advantage Program™ will be unique in the roofing industry, with a significant focus on quality and trust. One key component of the program is the development of leads for members, which will be accomplished in part through the Preferred Accounts Group. The Preferred Accounts Group works with national building owners throughout the country to provide roofing solutions for a portfolio of properties.
RSG also has dedicated resources to provide an enhanced level of education, including rooftop training, to its preferred contractors. Training also will be provided through videos, web-based programs and bi-lingual literature. There will be increased focus on assisting these valuable partners to optimize their use of technology in their businesses.
Cambruzzi said that RSG is aware that it must improve its efficiency in dealing with its preferred contractor partners. He said the Contractor Services Group is focused on “customer friendliness” and will dramatically increase response time.
“Our goal is to partner with the best roofing contractors in the business so that building owners can rely on having a high-quality, trouble-free roof,” Cambruzzi said. “We are dedicated to building a mutually beneficial relationship with this select group of roofing contractors.”
Roofing contractors qualifying for the Peak Performance Program™ will be the only ones who can offer RSG guarantees. Accordingly, RSG has launched an initiative to introduce more value-added elements to its guarantee services program. First, the company will optimize the number of people who have access to guarantee services. It also is streamlining the guarantee application and implementation process. Finally, it is exploring the possibility of offering new types of guarantees that are more responsive to the needs of building owners.
“Owners see little differentiation in the guarantees being offered today,” said Craig Maginness, director of the Contractor Services Group. “We want to push the envelope to develop products that provide value to them. For example, we might consider offering a guarantee that includes an inspection, maintenance and repair component.”
